Mrs. Ellen Joe Charles, widow of Mr. John Charles, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at the McCoy Memorial Nursing Center in Bishopville.

The family is receiving friends and relatives at the home of her niece, Geneva Atkinson, at 386 Manville-Wisacky Road in Bishopville.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the New Hope Baptist Church in Bishopville, with the Rev. Ricky L. Wilson, pastor, and minister Burnolph Bernard Belton as eulogist.

Interment will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Lawndale, North Carolina, with pastor Billy Houze officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St. in Bishopville, is in charge of arrangements.
