EMANUEL HAMMETT JR.

ST. MATTHEWS - On Sunday, Aug. 1, 2021, Emanuel Hammett Jr., widower of Elouise Pearson Hammett, departed this life at Calhoun Convalescent Center, St. Matthews.

Born on Nov. 25, 1939, in the Davis Station community of Manning, he was a son of the late Manuel and Easter Pearson Hammett.

In accordance with CDC recommendations in reference to COVID-19, the family is not receiving relatives and friends at the residence.

Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced by Fleming & DeLaine Funeral Home and Chapel of Manning.
