EMANUEL ROUSE JR.

Emanuel Rouse Jr., 59, was born on Nov. 3, 1960, in Sumter County, a son of the late Emanuel Rouse Sr. and Julia Rouse. He departed this life on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

He was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. Emanuel was a laborer and was loved by everyone who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, David (Dionne) Anthony and companion, Kathleen Anthony; one brother, Jerry (Wanda) Rouse; five sisters, Annette Davis, Betty Rouse, Wonda Rouse, Cynthia Rouse and Latonya Rouse, all of Sumter; two aunts, Suemae Wells of Mayesville and Sara Peterson of Sumter; one uncle, Ervin Rouse of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving relatives and friends at the home, 1025 Toby Court, Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at White's Cemetery, Airport Road, Sumter, with the Rev. Mary C. Myers, associate pastor of Ebenezer AME Church, Mayesville, officiating, eulogist.

The procession will leave from the home at 1:20 p.m.
