Emily Dixon James, 88, widow of Carl James Sr., died on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, at the National Health Care Facility in Sumter.
Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Janie Singleton Dixon.
Due to the pandemic and in accordance with CDC guidelines, the family will not receive friends at the residence.
Funeral arrangements are in progress and will be announced by Palmer Memorial Chapel Inc.
