ERIC LAMONT SPANN

Eric Lamont Spann, 42, departed this life early on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born on Aug. 9, 1976, in Sumter County, he was a son of Harry Lee Spann and Juanita Brown. He attended the public schools of Sumter County.

He leaves to cherish his memories: three children, Lemont Spann, Erica Spann and Amber Spann; his mother, Juanita Brown; his father, Harry Lee (Mary) Spann; two sisters, Sinita Major and Kayla Rouse; grandmother, Hattie Mae Brown; grandparents, Sam and Luphyllis McFadden; six aunts; two uncles; three special friends; a host of nieces, nephews, family and other friends.

The family received relatives and friends at 2476 Lisbon Drive, Sumter, and 14 W. Williams St., Sumter.

Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Monday at the John Wesley Williams Sr. Memorial Chapel of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter. The Rev. Franklin Garrett officiated, eulogist.

Services were directed by the management and staff of Williams Funeral Home Inc., 821 N. Main St., Sumter.
