Due to the threat of heavy winds and rainfall associated with Hurricane Ian, the eSTEAM Sumter Festival will be postponed from Saturday until a date in November.

Erika Williams, manager of communications and strategic initiatives with TheLINK Economic Development Alliance, which serves Sumter and Lee counties, made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon.

TheLINK is working to confirm a new festival date as soon as it can, she added.
