Even after being abandoned, Sumter Animal Control's Isabell is still a happy, friendly pup

Posted

This little girl was found abandoned and left to fend for herself. Isabell came to Sumter Animal Control very thin, weighing only 25 pounds, with spots on her back legs worn to the bone. After several weeks in the shelter, she has gained some weight and is up to 30 pounds. She is still young, approximately 2-4 years old. Isabell has seen the worst but she is still a happy and friendly pup. She is looking for a new family to give her the life she deserves.

As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them. Check Sumter Animal Control on Facebook. Call the adoption coordinator at (803) 774-3232 to set up a meet and greet or email at rescuesumtersc@gmail.com.
