Faye Chrisawn Foxworth, 94, widow of Elbert W. "Buck" Foxworth Jr., died on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2020, at The Gardens at Sumter.

Born on May 24, 1926, in Marion, North Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Estelle Brown Chrisawn. She was a member of Sumter First Baptist Church, where she served as financial secretary for 26 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Sumter Chapter 188 OES.

Survivors include three children, Anne F. Owens (Charles) of Camden, Elbert W. "Bucky" Foxworth III (Betty Ann) of Sumter and Terri F. Avin (Griff) of Greenville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Charles T. Owens II (Crystal), James B. Owens (Jamie), Nikki Wade (Adam), Brantley Foxworth (Katelyn) and Brittany McKelvey (John); and six great-grandchildren, Brantley Owens, Briggs Owens, Charleigh Owens, Conway Owens, Addie Wade and Miller Foxworth.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Chrisawn Jr.; and a sister, Mona Keels.

A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at Manning Cemetery with Griff Avin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bucky Foxworth.
