The latest monthly financial reports and test score data highlight Sumter School District's Board of Trustees' monthly work session meeting set for Monday.

Board Chairman Ralph Canty spoke briefly about the meeting on Friday, and a district staff member posted the agenda online for the media and the general public.

District Chief Financial Officer Jennifer Miller will provide the most up-to-date projections for how fiscal 2019 ended for the district and the estimated change in fund balance.

In her report to the full board, Superintendent Penelope Martin-Knox will discuss state standardized test results, which were released recently by the state Department of Education.

Monday's work session will be at the district office, 1345 Wilson Hall Road, and begin at 6 p.m. Like all board-related meetings, the public is welcome to attend, but public participation is not listed on the agenda.
