Recently, a "grand opening" sign has been hanging outside the storefront with the Feb. 28 date.
The growing American retailer is known for offering most of its store items for five dollars or less. Therefore, the name "Five Below."
Turner described the product line as popular and "trendy," to include the latest iPhone accessories, gaming items, room d cor items and makeup.
A limited selection of merchandise is $10 and below, Turner said, to include new product releases.
"Everything is $1 to $5 to $10," she said.
Five Below will be open seven days per week, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Gateway's other new tenants in the current renovation and expansion that started last summer include Ross Dress for Less and Ulta Beauty. The renovations are on the TJ Maxx side of the plaza.
