FRANCES K. WINEGAR

BALLSTON LAKE, N.Y. - Frances K. Winegar passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019.

She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Kline. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald M. Winegar; and her sister, Barbara.

Frances worked as a secretary and salesperson in her early years. She last worked as a hall monitor at Shenendehowa High School. She enjoyed various activities including playing cards, crossword puzzles, watching movies, arts and craft shows, eating out at restaurants, going shopping, and she never missed a soap opera. Frances was very devoted to her Christian faith.

She is survived by her six children, Cheryl (Robert) Volpe, Stephen (Robbin) Winegar, Deborah (Paul) Delgado, Cynthia (Christina) Chiarella, Gregory (Debra) Winegar and Geary (Sheryl) Stacey; and sisters, Virginia (Angelo) Curto and Patricia McCron. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her two devoted aides, Danielle and Adrienne. She will be dearly missed by her close friend, Nancy Van Evera, and her friends from the Saratoga area and Sumter.

The family would like to thank Gina, Amanda, Danielle Giuseppe, Adrienne Jehle and all of the staff of the Eddy Healthcare Community for all of their excellent care and compassion.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday with a service at noon at Catricala Funeral Home Inc., 1597 Route 9, Clifton Park, New York. Burial will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery.
