FREDERICK ANTONIO SUMTER

Frederick Antonio Sumter, 58, son of the late Isaac Sumter and Sally Smith Sumter, was born on Nov. 14, 1965, in Sumter. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at his residence.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary.

Funeral services will be held at noon Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Quincey Pringle, officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethel Community Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at 80 Dollard Drive, Sumter, daily from 2 to 8 p.m.
