Free COVID testing set on Wednesdays in December in Clarendon County

CLARENDON COUNTY - Several free COVID-19 testing clinics will be held in Clarendon County during December.

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control will be conducting a free mobile COVID-19 testing clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Weldon Auditorium, 7 Maple St.

On Wednesdays, Dec. 9 and Dec. 23, the Medical University of South Carolina will conduct free mobile COVID-19 testing clinics from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at Weldon Auditorium.

On Dec. 16, MUSC will be conducting a free mobile COVID-19 testing clinic in the Summerton area with the location announced later in the month.

Tents will be located at each location to provide services for both drive-through and walk-up patients. A photo identification is required. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The results from the tests will be provided to each patient within seven to 10 days of the test, possibly sooner.
