TURBEVILLE - Valencia Garris had a monster double-double performance for East Clarendon High School, grabbing 32 rebounds and scoring 18 points in the Lady Wolverines' 42-22 victory over Bethune-Bowman on Wednesday at the EC gymnasium.

Nakendra McElveen added 11 points for the Lady Wolverines. Rhamey Floyd had eight points.

The Lady Wolverines were playing without injured All-State performer Talaysia Cooper.

Crestwood 47

Camden 37

CAMDEN - Crestwood High School remained undefeated on the season with a 47-37 victory over Camden on Wednesday at the Camden gymnasium.

Carnasia Wells led the 5-0 Lady Knights with 20 points. Ashanti Washington finished with 17.

B TEAM BASKETBALL

Wilson Hall 38

Timmerman 7

Wilson Hall improved to 3-0 with a 38-7 victory over Timmerman School on Tuesday at Nash Student Center.

Olivia Cogswell led the Lady Barons with 12 points. Lucy Buxton added 10 and Caroline McElveen had six.

On Thursday, December 12, Wilson Hall beat Cardinal Newman 27-16. Cogswell had 14 points and Buxton added eight.

ST. MATTHEWS - Laurence Manning Academy opened its season with a 37-8 victory over Calhoun Academy on Wednesday at the CA gymnasium.

Audrey Coker led the Lady Swampcats with nine points.

TURBEVILLE - East Clarendon High School improved to 3-0 with a 56-48 win over Bethune-Bowman on Wednesday at the EC gymnasium.

Keyon Wilson led the Wolverines with 12 points. Marquis Pearson added 10 and Jalen Bryant had nine.

ST. MATTHEWS - Laurence Manning Academy opened its season with a 49-20 victory over Calhoun Academy on Wednesday at the CA gymnasium.
