GEORGE GIBBONS

George Gibbons, 66, husband of Rosa Evans Gibbons, died on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York.

He was born on Thursday, Aug. 28, 1952, in Nassau, Bahamas, to the late Ralph Gibbons and Myrtle Augustus.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday at Prayer House Mission Church, Summerton, with Prophetess Eartha Carter, pastor, and the Rev. Bobby McDonald, eulogist. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.

Viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. today at King-Fields Mortuary.

Mr. Gibbons will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. on Saturday until the hour of service.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his wife, Rosa Evans Gibbons, 1093 Antler Drive, Summerton, SC 29148.

Mr. Gibbons' mortal frame is peacefully resting in the professional care of King-Fields Mortuary, Summerton.
