GEORGIA MAE DAMON

Georgia Mae Damon, 63, was born on Jan. 4, 1958, in Lee County, a daughter of the late Felix Damon Jr. and Lucille Scarborough Damon. She departed this life on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at her residence.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.

Ms. Damon will be placed in the church at noon on Saturday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave. Sumter, SC 29150 with Pastor Alvin Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Unionville AME Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the home, 67 Hugh Road, Mayesville, SC 29104.
