GERALDINE LOUISE BEDARD

Geraldine Louise Bedard, 77, wife of the late Oliver Joseph Bedard Sr., died Saturday, April 26, 2025, at her home.
Born June 24, 1947, in Stafford Springs, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Marion Curtis Jenson. Mrs. Bedard was an avid bird watcher, animal lover and a people person. She retired from Tuomey Hospital.

Survivors include three children, Robert Bedard (Lisa), Oliver Bedard (Destiny) and Laura Smith (Ron); two brothers, Ernest Fain and Peter Jensen; one sister, Virginia Boutot; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Donna Bren.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, in the Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Vic Van Ras.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2025, at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at her home.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
