Ginger is a 1-year-old black-and-tan, female, Min Pin mix. She is current on all age-appropriate vaccinations and has been spayed but tested positive for heartworms. Ginger will need to continue heartworm treatment once adopted. She does not let having heartworms slow her down at all. She is very sweet and loves being petted. Ginger would make a great addition to your family. If you are interested in adopting her, you can get preapproved to adopt by submitting your adoption application online at www.ASecondChanceAnimalShelter.com. Our adoption fee for dogs is $125. A Second Chance Animal Shelter, 5079 Alex Harvin Highway (U.S. 301), is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
