MIRAMAR, Fla. -- Gloris Ragin Conyers Crawford, wife of Edward Crawford, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2006, at her residence in Miramar, Fla.

Born Oct. 30, 1944, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late Johnny Ragin and Bernice Crosby Ragin. Her education was obtained in the public schools of Clarendon County. Prior to retirement, she was employed with Sears, Roebuck and Co. and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

She was first married to the late Mood Conyers Sr. of Clarendon County and later to Edward Crawford of Miami, Fla.

Survivors include her husband, Edward Crawford of Miramar; three sons, Melvin Conyers, Mood Conyers Jr. and Russell Conyers; one daughter, Johnnie Mae (David) Bennett of Pembrok Pines, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Kaneshia Crawford of Miramar; four brothers, Ernest (Vicki) Ragin of Glencove, N.Y., Johnny Ragin of Portland, Ore., Darrell (Joy) Ragin and Elvis Ragin, both of Broward County, Fla.; five sisters, Margie (Nevelle) Graham of Broward County, Gussie Ragin of Miami, Gardenia Ragin (Ray) Logan of Paxville, Sheryl (Phil) Fusaro of Sacramento, Calif., and Alberta Church of Conyers, Ga.; and seven grandchildren.

Wake services will be held from 4 to to 9 p.m. Friday at Royal Funeral Home, Miami.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Miami.

Burial will be in Fred Hunter Memorial Park, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Royal Funeral Home of Miami is in charge of services.
