Harriett Ann B. Crowe, age 86, beloved wife of the late Everette Harold Crowe, died on Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, peacefully at her residence.

Ann was born on June 24, 1932 in Sewanee, Tennessee, to Benjamin and Lula Brown. Married to the love of her life for 62 years, Ann and Harold moved to Sumter in 1959. Ann had a distinguished 30-year career with her second family at the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Shaw Air Force Base. She was a member of Woodland Church of Christ.

Ann is survived by three children, Kathryn D. Horton of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Pamela Craven and her husband, Michael, of Dalzell and Everette D. Crowe and his wife, Wendy, of Summerville; four grandchildren, Lisa Delibero and husband, Fred, Stephen Craven and his wife, Susan, Brian E. Craven, and Shannon East and her husband, David; five great-grandchildren, Griffin Delibero, Riley Delibero, Evan Craven, Cash East and Colette East; two brothers, Howard Dan Brown of Lafayette, Georgia, and Maxie Randle Brown and his wife, Linda F., of Armuchee, Georgia; and one sister, Ellen Yvonne Woodward and her husband, Gary, of Gallatin, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ann was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy W. Brown, B.T. Brown and Winifred Roger Brown; and one sister, Alice Patricia Brumley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Arnie Granke officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bullock Funeral Home.
