ANDERSON - Miss Sarah Elizabeth Harris and Mr. Anthony Neil Cook, both of Atlanta, were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Aug. 19, 2017 at The Bleckley Station. Dr. Don Cox officiated the double-ring ceremony. Music was provided by Upstate Strings Trio.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harris III of Anderson and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Madison Stewart of New Zion and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Harris Jr. of Manning. Sarah is a 2013 graduate of Savannah College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Advertising Design. She is employed as a senior digital designer/creative manager at PureCars in Atlanta.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Anthony Cook and the grandson of Mr. Morris Neil Owen and the late Mrs. Shirley Hall Owen and Mrs. Mary Mitchell Cook, all of Anderson. He is a 2013 graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication with a minor in Graphic Design. He is employed at Bull Realty as a video producer of America's Real Estate Show. He is also the owner of Coffee and Camera, LLC, a photography and video production company.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a champagne Matthew Christopher strapless floor-length gown of dotted Swiss tulle, overlaid with beading and embroidery French lace. Dotted Swiss covered buttons embellished the back of the chapel-length train. Her veil, designed with imported French lace, complimented her ensemble. She carried a cascade bouquet of white hydrangeas, cream and pale blush roses, seeded eucalyptus and greenery. Enhancing the bouquet was a handkerchief given to the bride at birth by her great-grandmother, the late Mrs. Caddie Elizabeth Gibbons of New Zion.

Miss Marie Nichole Mele served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Mary Marshall McKenzie, Miss Helen Szuhan Chiao, Miss Kelly Johanna Giraldo, Miss Melanie Anne Lewis and Miss Katherine Laura Weaver. The flower girl was Miss Abigail Kelly Thrift.

Mr. Ray Anthony Cook, father of the bridegroom, and Mr. Nic Alexander McMillan served as best men. Groomsmen were Mr. Andrew Seth Aldridge, Mr. Christopher Ryan Crumpton, Mr. Kyle Austin Thompson and Mr. Zachary Brett Wilbanks. Hunter Clinton Logan, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer. Acolytes were Mr. Joshua Jackson McGregor and Mr. Britton Smith McKenzie.

Also participating were: program attendants, Mr. William Bryson McDonald and Mr. William Logan McGregor; greeters, Mr. and Mrs. James Timothy Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Eubanks Taylor Jr. and Mrs. Judy Craft Tinsley; and wedding director, Mrs. Ashley Mantooth Stone.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception dinner at The Bleckley Station. At the end of the evening, Mr. Gerald Riggins drove the couple off in his silver 1957 Chevrolet convertible, which he gave to his wife, Lois, for their 50th wedding anniversary.

The bridegroom's parents hosted the rehearsal party dinner at J Peters Grill in Anderson.

After a wedding trip to Los Cabos, Mexico, the couple resides in Atlanta.
