Harvey deserves to know what it means to be loved

Posted

Harvey was brought to animal control as an abandoned stray. Left outside in the heat with no shelter, he needs a new home with owners who will give him the love and attention he's never known. Harvey is a sweet boy who is very grateful to have a cool inside place to stay for awhile. He gets along with other dogs and loves human attention. He is a happy and loving fella who enjoys his daily walks with the volunteers. He is so excited when volunteers arrive, he waits by his kennel door with a big smile on his face. Harvey weighs 43 pounds and is approximately 2-3 years old. He is adorable and would fit in well with any family. Harvey is in kennel 36 at Sumter Animal Control, 1240 Winkles Road. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them. Check Sumter Animal Control on Facebook. Call the adoption coordinator at (803) 774-3232 to set up a meet and greet or email at rescuesumtersc@gmail.com.
