Have you seen us? Sumter deputies ask for info about missing residents

As we enter the new year, we remember those who are still missing.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office provided The Sumter Item information on Sumter's open missing person cases. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the people listed above is asked to call Sumter County Sheriff's Office at (803) 436-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

Stacy Renee Lester

Age at time missing: 34

Height: 5 feet 7 inches

Weight: About 130 pounds

Other distinguishing features: Blue eyes and blond hair

Last seen: Aug. 8, 2009, at Tuomey Regional Medical Center in Sumter

Lester was known to frequent the South Sumter area, specifically the Red Bay Road and Vaughn Street areas.

Naomi Collins

Age at time missing: 33

Height: 5 feet 1 inch

Weight: About 130 pounds

Other distinguishing features: Brown eyes and brown hair

Last seen: March 4, 2015, in the area of U.S. 15 South and Country Springs Drive.

Richard McCray

Age at time missing: Unknown

Height: 5 feet 9 inches

Weight: About 140 pounds

Other distinguishing features: Brown eyes and black hair

Last seen: Dec. 27, 1999, entering a wooded area near U.S. 521 and Ellerbe Mill Road at 4 p.m.

McCray was on medication at the time and may have been disoriented.

James Reginald Harley

Age at time missing: 48

Height: 5 feet 6 inches

Weight: About 140 pounds

Other distinguishing features: Brown eyes and black hair

Last seen: Jan. 11, 2008, walking down U.S. 521 North near Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church
