HERMETTA WHEELER KENNEDY

COLUMBIA - Hermetta Wheeler Kennedy, 83, died on Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Prisma Health Richland Hospital, Columbia.

She was born on Oct. 15, 1938, in Turbeville, a daughter of the late Joseph Emerson and Generetta McElveen Wheeler.

Public viewing will be held from noon to 6 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning, and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at Leevy's Funeral Home, 1831 Taylor St., Columbia.

Funeral services for Mrs. Kennedy will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at Leevy's Funeral Home, 1831 Taylor St., Columbia. Burial will take place at noon on Saturday at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1148 Old Manning Road, Turbeville.
