The sophomore played No. 1 for the Barons all season. He suffered just one loss all year, posting an 11-1 record. Coulter and Jackson Mahr only lost twice as the Barons’ No. 1 doubles team.

“I think it was a really good season. I think I played well for the most part. I think I improved in my serve a lot.” -- William Coulter

“William has been improving at a very fast pace since I first got to know him in the sixth grade. He’s a very experienced player who works hard on his game. With his ability and the way he works, there was no doubt he was the leader of our team.” -- Wilson Hall Head Coach Chuck McCord

The senior had a 5-3 individual record playing on the lower half of the singles ladder. She also teamed with Laura Helen Johnson to post a 4-1 record at No. 3 doubles.

“I feel like I really improved as the season went along. The more I played the more and more my skill level improved. I became more confident as well, and I really felt confident playing doubles.” -- Sarah Faye Turner

“What Sarah Faye brought to us was maturity and leadership that goes with being a senior. She was a leader both on and off the court, an encourager. She impressed with her ability on the court, and she did this while running cross country at the same time (and was LMA’s fastest runner). She didn’t miss a practice or a match, and she didn’t miss a meet.” -- Laurence Manning Head Coach Vassar Turner
