INGA KARENA ELLEFSON OLESEN

Inga Karena Ellefson Olesen, age 81, beloved wife of the late Thomas Bryant Olesen, died on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital.

Born in Bawlf, Alberta, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Axel and Gertrude Heugen Ellefson. Mrs. Olesen was a dedicated waitress and worked for many years at both Sunset Country Club and Big Jim's restaurant. She loved animals, especially her cats.

Surviving are two daughters, Beverley Olesen of Sumter and Debra Geddings and her husband, Ricky, of Greenville; one son, Thomas W. Olesen and Kathleen of Kansas; three grandchildren, Tessa Geddings, Jason Geddings and Mary Geddings Fennell; 11 great-grandchildren, Cierra Slagle, Aubrey Morgan, Braden and Caleb Geddings, Cory, Chandler, Clint, Chance and Cheyenne Trammell, Alyssa Fennell and Kane Houston; and two great-grandchildren, Ansleigh and Aniya Barton.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Elizabeth Geddings.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel.
