J. REGENA BRUNSON

Jacqueline Regena Brunson, 78, wife of Lymon L. Brunson, died on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at NHC Healthcare.

Born on May 6, 1940, in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Keith and Nadine Hughes Mixon. She was a member of Concord Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years; three children, Chris Brunson and Keby Brunson, both of Sumter, and Brandi Brunson of Auburn, Alabama; three grandchildren, Courtney Brunson, Tanner Brunson and Cassidy Brunson; two great-granddaughters, Emma and Ava; and two sisters, Brenda Frazier and Pamela Webb.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Fulton.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Rusty Wilson officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home.

The family requests that no food or flowers be sent. Instead memorials may be made to Concord Presbyterian Church, 3350 E. Brewington Road, Sumter, SC 29153.
