JACOB ALFONZA JENKINS

Jacob Alfonza Jenkins, 87, was born on Feb. 12, 1932 in Lee County, a son of the late William and Mattie Gaskins Jenkins. He departed this life on Monday, Feb. 10, 2020, at McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning.

Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Job's Mortuary.

Mr. Jenkins will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. on Monday for viewing until the hour of service.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday at Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church, 418 Main St., Lynchburg, SC 29080 with Pastor Sammie D. Simmons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be sent to Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Bethesda Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the home of his daughter, 1644 Spigner Road, Alcolu.

Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
