James A. Tate Jr., 83, husband of Merlenia Knox Tate, died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.
Born April 18, 1936, in Abbeville, he was a son of the late James A. Tate Sr. and Leola Jones Tate.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the home, 616 Brown St.
