JAMES ALFORD WRIGHT
James Alford Wright was born on Feb. 22, 1962, in Wedgefield, the eldest child of Luke Gayle Sr. and Elizabeth Gayle. He departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Mr. Wright will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Saturday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Salem Chapel & Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, SC 29150 with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel AME Church Cemetery, Wedgefield.
The family will receive friends at the home of his parents, 66 Sally St., Wedgefield, SC 29168.
Job's Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., Sumter, is in charge of arrangements.
