JAMES ANDREW TAYLOR

MANNING - James Andrew "Jimmy" Taylor, 70, husband of Mary King "Garson" Taylor, died on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, at Magnolias of Santee.

Born on Dec. 20, 1949, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Hubert Leffel "Fet" Taylor Sr. and Esther Irene Ridgeway Taylor. He attended Lees-McCrae College, Wofford College and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He was a member of Manning United Methodist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Jody Taylor (Amanda) of Manning; two grandsons, Anders Taylor and Cody Taylor, both of Manning; a sister, Kathy Taylor Lee (Gary) of Manning; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Andrew "Drew" Taylor Jr.; and a brother, Hubert Leffel "Little Fet" Taylor Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Clarendon Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service.
