JAMES PETER MOUZON

ATLANTA - On Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, James Peter "Cookie" Mouzon, husband of Vermell Calhoun Mouzon, exchanged time for eternity at the VA Medical Center of Atlanta.

Born on Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1951, in the Foreston community of Manning, he was a son of the late Sam Willie and Carrie Lee Hunter Mouzon.

Graveside services celebrating his life will take place at 2 p.m. today at the family plot located at St. Matthews Cemetery, S.C. 261/Kingstree Highway, Manning, where Elder Kenneth Murray, pastor of Holy Rock Holiness Church, Foreston community of Manning, will officiate.

Public viewing will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. today at Fleming & DeLaine Chapel, 222 W. Boyce St., Manning.

In accordance with the requirements given by the CDC in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family is not receiving relatives and friends at the residence.
