Deborah Jamison and Steven Edwards, both of Sumter, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2020, at St. Anne Catholic Church in Sumter.The bride is the daughter of Brian and Amy Jamison and the granddaughter of Byron and Kitty Jamison and Ronny and Gayle Knight, all of Sumter. She attends Clemson University. The bridegroom is the son of Jeffrey and Joan Edwards of Sumter and the grandson of Mrs. Marie Edwards and the late Calvin Edwards of Milton, West Virginia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burnham of Sparta, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and recently received his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force.

Father Giovannie Nunez officiated at the ceremony assisted by Deacon Ronnie Lorcha at St. Anne.

Anne LeGrande, pianist, provided the music.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a lace ballgown with accent beading and a small train and a white veil with accent beading. She carried a bouquet of white carnations, pink roses and blue flowers tied with a white and navy blue ribbon.

Caroline Jamison served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Meagan Jamison, Lesley Jamison, Alyssa Weimer, Brianna Bryant, Amber Jamison and Danielle Owen. Natalia Elkeberry served as flower girl.

Matthew Rickabaugh and Christopher Rickabaugh served as best men. Groomsmen were Deandre Pringle, Richard Russel, Christopher Edwards, John Jamison and Daveion Green. Atlee Knight served as ring bearer.

Also participating were Jeff Knight, Isabelle McCaffrey and Nikki Pritchard.

The reception was given by the bride's grandparents, the Jamisons, at their residence.

The rehearsal party was given by the bridegroom's parents at their residence.

A wedding trip is planned for a later date.

The couple resides in Sumter.
