Janice Coker Lee, 75, widow of Thomas Jerry Lee, died on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.

Born on April 5, 1945, in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow Jenkins Coker and Pearlie Mae Floyd Coker. Mrs. Lee was a member of Meadowbrook Church of God. She was a supervisor at Model Dye and later worked with her daughter at Susie's Boutique.

Survivors include five daughters, Janet Hansen, Tammy Hughes (Jody), Susie McDonald, Angel Hansen and Tamara Irick, all of Sumter; five sons, Tommy Lee (Donna) and Clay Lee (Pricilla), both of Lake City, Paul Hansen, Zackery Hansen (Brittany) and Garrison Powell, all of Sumter; a special son-in-law, Stacey McDonald; five grandchildren, Amanda Powell, Destiny Hughes, Jessie Hughes (Courtney), Mason McDonald and Dallas Welch; three great-grandchildren, Autumn Osteen, Adeline Cockerill and Raegan Cockerill; two brothers, W.J. Coker (Christine) of Sumter and H.E. Floyd (Dianne) of Pinewood; three sisters, Beulah Fulton, Evelyn Brinson and Cleo Gainey; one sister-in-law, Sara Floyd of Sumter; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Laverne Powell; two brothers, Eldridge Floyd and Son Floyd; and a sister, Jackie Coker.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Danny Watford officiating. Burial will be at Sumter Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the home.
