JANIE R. WASHINGTON
Janie Ragin Washington, 86, of Summerton, widow of Robert Washington, entered in eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018.
She was born on April 29, 1932, in Clarendon County, to the late Bennie Bager Ragin and Gracie Brown Ragin.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, John Edward Washington; two daughters, Janet (Michael) Caldwell and Christine (Jamie) Branch; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mark AME Church, Summerton, with the Rev. Canty, pastor.
Viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. today at King-Fields Mortuary.
Mrs. Washington will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Saturday until the hour of service.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1050 Delaine St., Summerton.
