JASON JOHN GERBODE

ST. PAUL, N.C. - Jason John Gerbode, 38, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Born Aug. 12, 1981, in Layton, Utah, he was a son of John Mark Gerbode and Sandra Leah Miller Gerbode. He was the general manager at Firehouse Subs.

Survivors in addition to his parents include four children, Caleb Gerbode, Jayden Gerbode and Jayden Gerbode, all of Sumter, and Arizona Gerbode of St. Paul; one brother, Michael Gerbode (Stacy) of Sumter; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Roberta Miller of Freeport, Illinois; and paternal grandmother, Sally Gerbode of Lena, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Max Gerbode.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen Memorial Park Mausoleum with the Rev. Mark Yoder officiating.

Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
