Funeral services for Mrs. Jean Howard Skinner Reynolds, 84, who entered into rest on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in First Baptist Church in Bishopville.

The Rev. Bill Langford and the Rev. Lin Kirkman will officiate, with burial to follow at 3:30 p.m. in Kingstree Memorial Gardens in Kingstree. The family received friends from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.

Hancock-Elmore-Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.

Jean was born on Aug. 23, 1934, and lived her entire life in Lee County.

She graduated from Bishopville High School in 1952 and attended Winthrop College. She worked for a period of time with the ASCS office and later as a teacher's assistant.

Jean was a member of First Baptist Church in Bishopville for 65 years.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, W. S. "Toby" Reynolds III of Bishopville; son, W. Sheldon (Sarah) Reynolds IV of Kingstree; four grandchildren, William Evan (Margaret) Reynolds of Kingstree, Olivia Paige Reynolds of Kingstree, James Clayton Reynolds of James Island, Jeana Faye Reynolds of Clemson; and one great-grandchild, Anne Mishoe Reynolds.

She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Josie Skinner (Charles) Andrews of Hartsville; and her parents, Howard Leigh Skinner and Louise Watson Skinner.

The family would like to thank all of the friends, family and caregivers for their love, support and helpful hands.
