Jennifer Lynn Mood Pillsbury, age 52, widow of Jon Pillsbury, died on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

Jennifer was born in Sumter, a daughter of Robert Ashleigh Mood (Lynn) and Arnicia Miller Snethen. Jennifer loved Clemson with a passion. She coached baseball for the Parks and Recreation Department. She attended every game her boys played, until her health failed. She considered the other baseball players as her extended family. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her children, Ashleigh Blair Alligood, Robert Thomas "Tommy" Pillsbury and Travis Jennings Pillsbury of the home; one sister, Leigh Benenhaley and her husband, Sonny; and a special nephew to her, Cole Benenhaley.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday in the Bullock Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sammy Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Cole Benenhaley, Robert Benenhaley, Trent Frye, David Frey, Tucker Chapman, Ross Connor, Johnathon Barkley and Austin Barkley.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at Bullock Funeral Home and other times at the home of her mother.
