COLUMBIA - Jewel Walker, 72, died on Friday, Jan. 17, 2020.

He was a son of the late Elijah Walker Jr. and Rosa Lee Matthews Walker.

Wake services will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Hayes F. Samuels Sr. Memorial Chapel, 114 N. Church St., Manning.

Funeral services for Mr. Walker will held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Historic Trinity AME Church, 51 W. Rigby, Manning, with the Rev. Dominic Grate, pastor, officiating, the Rev. Deloris Gerow presiding, the Rev. Willie Wright and the Rev. John Baxter assisting. Burial will follow at Saw Dust Cemetery, Manning.

The family is receiving friends at the home of his sister, Vella Grantham, 1088 William Acres Lane, Manning.
