JIMMIE LEE JOE SR.

COLUMBIA - Graveside services for Jimmie Lee Joe Sr. will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Cemetery, 1260 Green Hill Church Road, Alcolu, SC 29001.

A public viewing will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary.

Jimmie was born on July 6, 1949, in Lee County, to the late Lee and Georgia Mae Rice Joe.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Joe; and a sister, Annie Mae Joe Robinson.

He departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, in Sumter.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Janet Joe; a son, Jimmie Lee Joe; three daughters, Tiniqwat Green, Shaquitta Wells and Ky'Cenia Bristol; a sister, Dorothy Joe; a brother, Clinton (Evelyn) Rice; 14 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 695 Flamingo Road and 13 S. Purdy St. Please use COVID-19 protocol.
