Joann Brockington Burgess, 63, widow of the Rev. Lee Ernest Burgess Sr., departed this life on Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1956, in Kingstree, a daughter of Bobbie J. Brockington and the late Willene House Brockington.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1121 Pulpit St., Sumter, SC 29150.
