JOANN BROCKINGTON BURGESS
Joann Brockington Burgess was born on Nov. 19, 1956, in Clarendon County, to Willene House Brockington. She was reared by Bobby Joe Brockington and the late Marie House-Brockington.
Public viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. today at Job's Mortuary.
Mrs. Burgess will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. on Thursday for viewing until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, 1130 Granby Lane, Summerton, SC 29148 with the Rev. Dr. W.T. Johnson, pastor, officiating and Minister Lee E. Burgess Jr., eulogist. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the home, 1121 Pulpit St., Sumter, SC 29150.
