JOE LOUIS OLIVER

SUMMERTON - Joe Louis "CP" Oliver, age 77, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late James and Wilhemina Thames Oliver. He was the husband of Mary Frank Oliver.

Funeral services will held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church, Summerton, with the Rev. Dr. William T. Johnson, host pastor, and the Rev. David Lawson, eulogist. Final resting place will be Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Summerton.

Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Dyson's Home for Funerals.

The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

The family will receive friends at the home of his wife, Mary Frank Oliver, 1154 Dinah Montgomery Road, Summerton.
