JOHN EDWARD WILSON JR.

John Edward Wilson Jr., 63, son of Willie Mae Hodge Wilson Harry and the late John Edward Wilson Sr., was born on Oct. 19, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He departed this life on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital, Columbia.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Job’s Mortuary Inc.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Jehovah Missionary Baptist Church, 805 S. Harvin St., Sumter.

Interment will follow in Bradford Cemetery, Sumter.

Family will receive friends at the home, 608 S. Harvin St., Sumter.

Job’s Mortuary Inc., 312 S. Main St., is in charge of arrangements.
