MANNING - Johnnie Mae Corbett Repsher, 83, widow of John Ervin Repsher, died on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at her home.

Born on Oct. 1, 1936, in Manning, she was a daughter of the late John Allen Corbett and Ola Thigpen Corbett. She was a retired secretary with the Clarendon County Health Department and a member of Manning First Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna R. Jackson (Ray) of Ninety Six; a son, Herman L. "Lin" Rainey Jr. (Rhonda) of Manning; three sisters, Virginia Horner (Buddy) of Moncks Corner, Mary Lotwis (Bill) and Helen Weeks, both of Manning; a sister-in-law, JoAnn Corbett of Manning; six grandchildren, H. Lindon Rainey III (Ana) of Charlotte, North Carolina, Nicole R. Floyd (Rhett) of Manning, Kayla J. Kulhanek (Daniel) of Greenwood, Hannah Jackson, Wayne Jackson and Skyler Jackson, all of Ninety Six; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Herman Lindon Rainey Sr.; three sisters, Betty Lou Herring, Rounette Baker and Lois Kennedy; and a brother, John Corbett.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Manning First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Phillip Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Clarendon Memorial Gardens.

Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1143 DeBerry Drive, Manning.
