Julius Lamont Harris, 41, husband of Cornelia Annorth Harris, transitioned peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, in Norcross, Georgia.

He was born on July 12, 1979, in Sumter, to Mable Butler and Julius O. Harris. He attended the public schools of Sumter County and was a graduate of Crestwood High School Class of 1997. Julius loved to learn and discover new ideas and concepts, especially in the tech world. Between keeping track of his Forex trading, caring for his garden and cooking amazing food for his family, Julius rarely kept still. For many years, Julius worked in the medical community for Philips and 10 N Path Inc. He was known to be an extremely knowledgeable and respectful engineer.

Julius is survived by his wife, Cornelia; a daughter, Nyaa; a son, Moses; his mother, Mable Butler; his father, Julius O. Harris (KeKe); brothers, Marcus Wilson, Calvin Butler, Alexander Lane (Courtney), Alfred Lane and Patreon Weeks (Marcus); sisters, Shanyce Watkins (Zay) and Kendra Weeks-Harris (Kayla); maternal grandmother, Martha Butler; paternal grandmother, Maggie Harris; mother-in-love, Joyce Annoth; a host of nieces and nephews that Julius helped raised; extended families, Bradley, Jenkins and Mack; plus many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family is requesting no visitation at the home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kings Highway Community Park, 2035 N. Kings Highway, S.C. 261 North, Dalzell.

The procession will leave at 12:20 p.m. from the home.
