ALCOLU - Kenneth Warren Rolland Sr., 78, beloved husband of Rebecca Frierson Evans Rolland, died on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at McLeod Health Clarendon.
Born on July 6, 1939, in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Albert and Edna Kramer Rolland. He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of Alcolu; three sons, Ken Rolland Jr., James Rolland and John Rolland, all of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Kathy Rolland of Pennsylvania; a brother, Marlin Rolland of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Mark Evans (Sandy) and Wayne Evans (Jenny), both of Alcolu; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. John Matthews officiating. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Timmons, Raymond Timmons, Chris Matthews, Kevin Patterson, Charlie Cannon and David Cummins.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at Stephens Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 4000 Alcolu St., Alcolu.
