LARRY BENNETT JOHNSON

Larry Bennett Johnson, 68, died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019, at his home.

Born in Sumter, he was a son of the late Samuel T. Johnson Sr. and Lottie Mae Hutchinson Johnson. Mr. Johnson attended Sumter First Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and was a former employee of Sumter Dairies.

Surviving are his mother of Sumter; a daughter, Annette Johnson; two brothers, Allen D. Johnson of Sumter and Samuel Thomas "Tommy" Johnson Jr. (Gail) of Summerville; and a sister, Alice Womack of Easley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the chapel of Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Howell officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Elmore Hill McCreight Funeral Home.
