Lashanda was born on Dec. 11, 1980, to Shirley McKnight Williams and the late Raymond Williams. She attended the public schools of Sumter County and Sumter High School.

The Lord called her home to spend eternity with her Savior. Lashanda was humble, quiet, loving and very giving to her family. She enjoyed doing domestic work and later became a stay-at-home mom. She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. Her passion was watching sports. Lashanda was a big New England Patriots diehard fan.

Lashanda leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Ziasia and Ladayisha Williams; two sisters, Tameika Williams and Latonya Champagne; one brother, Brian (Latreshia) Williams of Sumter; two brothers-in-law, Joseph Wilson and Quincy Champagne of Sumter; two special friends of the family, Nicholas McCleary and Edward McNeil; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In accordance with the COVID-19 guidelines, the family is requesting face masks and social distancing be observed by relatives and friends during visitation at the home of her sister, 505 Lucas Court, Sumter.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Aycock Cemetery, 4075 Wedgefield Road, Wedgefield, with Pastor Johnny Davis officiating and Pastor Barbara J. Davis, eulogist.

The procession will leave the home at 10:20 a.m.
