Lawrence loves being outside, going for walks

This sweet fella is Lawrence, and he is approximately 3 to 5 years old. He gets along with the other dogs and enjoys his walks with the volunteers. Lawrence came to animal control as a stray. He was malnourished and seemed to have been on his own for awhile. He is doing very well at the shelter. He is gaining weight and now weighs 52 pounds. Lawrence gets so excited for his time outside, he waits by the kennel door jumping up and down. Lawrence is looking forward to a new family and a safe place to lay his head at night. He is in kennel 33 at Sumter Animal Control, 1240 Winkles Road. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we do require a spay or neuter agreement, and it is strictly enforced. Proof of spay/neuter after adoption will be required. We have many other adoptable dogs as well as animals who were found and are waiting for their owners to claim them.
